About
Sally believes that the secret to a healthy life is balance—not restriction. A food-lover at heart, Sally uses her background in Nutrition Science and Biological Sciences to make healthy eating both simple and sustainable. Sally has been practicing as a Registered Dietitian for over a decade, and as a Certified Diabetes Educator since 2012. She graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelors degree in Nutrition Science, and University of Calgary with a Bachelors degree in Biological Science. Sally has worked in various hospitals and clinics in Alberta, and was the Alberta coordinator for two nation-wide nutrition research studies. She is a Certified Craving Change TM facilitator, and certified with the Home Support Exercise Program for the elderly. She is passionate about making the latest nutrition research simple to understand since she believes the best way for people to take care of their health is if they understand how food affects their body.
Beyond her private practice, Sally is an active educator and researcher who loves engaging with the community through workshops on meal planning and managing cravings. Whether she’s leading a seminar or trying out a new cuisine, Sally is passionate about helping people enjoy their food while taking charge of their health.
